This piece is indicative of the work I did in the 1980s. Most of those works explored landscapes imagery though simple lines.

I used a double weave technique to make horizontal raised lines, pleats, over a vertically striped warp. The pleats are a rayon, weft faced weave constructs to contrast the warp of linen and cotton.
