The Blue Horizon

What if we were water and clouds
Moving in and out with the tides, riding the thermals
With the raptors?   

What if the blue horizon
were not elusive?  
The equator 
a real yellow line that circles the earth? 

What if our bodies know 
They are made of elements
Begun as stars?

The spaciousness we seek from the blue horizon
Is limited only by the illusion
Of our physical confines.
