Exploring the likeness of text and textiles, investigating the mystery of encoded fabrics and the hidden language in weaving, I try to come to terms with the mysteries of my own life by creating diagrams, maps and woven metaphors.
For forty years I have found the process of weaving to be a spiritual experience. The slow, meditative quality of creating art through weaving shifts my entire being out of this fast-paced world in which I live. In this gallery you will find Studio Art, Public Art and Community Art. Be sure to check out my teaching programs and residencies. Please contact me with any questions and for more information.
