Elmhurst Elementary School, Portsmouth, RI April 2009

"Arts for Life Celebration" ~ a one day event for the whole school community, PK through grade 4. We created a very large Mandala Community Weaving for over 400 participants. I custom built an extra large loom which would hold all the clothes pin people. The art teacher added the finishing touch of a butterfly, the school symbol, to the center of the mandala.
