After " Lies and Dreams," I wanted to explore the transition from being a daughter to being the mother of a daughter. The long shape of the house felt appropriate because so much of a woman's life is based in the home. The first panel has a photograph of me as a daughter with symbols of home, my siblings, and new life. The second panel is about being a young woman, growing, expanding, and exploring. The third panel is about being a mother of a daughter (and a son) and about being rooted and nurturing, as well as being an artist and a dreamer.
