The works in the "House Prayer" series were created just prior to the war in Iraq, and are visual prayers for world reconciliation. Using photographic images of my daughter's hands in prayer and the house shape, I continue to explore the idea of positive thought and hope for something other than war and violent conflict. Donated buttons from the Button Project found their way into a couple of these pieces. This series is comprised of four works: "Prayer House," "Spiral House," "House Prayer," and "Counting House". Each of the works is mounted on acid-free linen and backing, and is custom framed.
