Prior to each residency, I provide the residency coordinator with a comprehensive Resource Guide, a Bibliography, plans for building the looms, a materials check list and a list of materials to solicit as donations from the community.

Planning time with the site staff might include meetings to discuss the design of the weavings, how to link with curriculum subjects and how to organize the materials and community volunteers to help with the classroom weavings.

Each residency has its own character, thus each preparation phase will have its own needs. I am very experienced in guiding these projects, and will be there to support each step of the residency, from planning and preparation to the celebratory culminating event.
