The Pike School, Andover, MA

Working with the art teachers at this private day school, I designed and guided the creation of a large installation for the lobby of the new auditorium. The challenges included that the art work must be "read" well from the parking lot, be resistant to fading and offer opportunities for all students from K - 9, staff and faculty to contribute. The piece also had to illustrate the school motto (Non Sibi Solum) and the school six mission statements. By May we had completed the central globe with the motto. The smaller satellites illustrating the mission statements will be completed and installed in the fall. Photos here are of the completed globe and works in progress.
