The subject of “Tolerance” was the focus for the first and second graders in this school. This residency incorporated a component of writing about tolerance, community, and cooperation. With the teacher's help, students explored the ideas of stereotypes, prejudice, diversity and discrimination. We wove six large tapestries based on this theme. Pictured here is a weaving telling the story of tolerance at school.
