I have been an artist-in-residence many times at this small neighborhood school. Our weaving subjects have ranged from stories about dinosaurs to a local country fair. Along with decorating the school walls, these weavings have been donated to local civic sites.

“The First Thanksgiving” is the subject of this second grade weaving. The finished weaving measures approximately 30" by 36" and took eight sessions to complete.
