Button Project Update: March 2003

On February 12, 2003, I shipped the Button Project to Wichita, Kansas. The piece traveled in a custom-built crate to the Wichita Center for the Arts for a nationally juried exhibit titled “Fiber Directions 2003”.

I am in the process of putting together a promotional package about the Button Project. This package will detail the history and creation of the artwork,as well as contain full-scale images and details of the work. This promotional package will be sent to corporations, museums and individuals who might be interested in acquiring the artwork for their collection. I welcome any contact suggestions that you might have.

Once again, thank you all for your support of this art project. I still receive comments and feedback on the power of this work. This response encourages and sustains me in finding a permanent home for this work.
