Sarah Haskell: Button Project
Update

I am currently looking for an appropriate venue for exhibiting "Each One: The Button Project, a 9/11 Memorial". I would like this piece to be on display in New York City on the third anniversary of September 11th, in the fall of 2004.

My goal is to find a venue with easy public access, good lighting, and security. The space requirements are a minimum 12' ceiling and about 24 square feet of floor space. I have a stand that will display the artwork, without the need to use a wall. It will also fit nicely in a corner space.

I will cover the transportation and installation costs, insurance and arrange for the publicity. If you have any ideas on a possible exhibit site, please contact me. Feel free to pass this request on to your colleagues who might also have ideas.

I have had some strong leads and continue to pursue each idea that is suggested to me. I look forward to hearing your ideas on how to have this incredible work shared with a larger community.

Locally this work will be on exhibit June 6-July 4, 2004 in "Art of the Elements," an invitational group show at the Coolidge Center for the Arts (see the Calendar for more information). I hope that those of you who live nearby and have not seen this work will be able to come to this exhibit.

Thank you to all who continue to support my vision to find a permanent home for this work.

Peace,
Sarah D. Haskell
